2022 Area 41 Drags

The weekend at US 41 wasn’t a total loss due to rain. At least we had Friday with nice hot weather and were able to get three passes in. Saturday mother nature threw us a real curveball and directed the rain gods to pour it on and that is exactly what happened. The event was cancelled by noon as it was still raining. There were spots in the pits with multiple inches of standing water and that in itself was a problem for navigating around the pits. I observed several grassy areas that were just about covered to the top of the grass with water. I want to thank all that attended and hope everyone got back to their home base ok. One of these weekends we’ll get the whole program in.
