2022 Out-A-Sight Drags
Another weekend of NSS Inc racing is in the history books. The Out of Sight event at Great Lakes Dragaway went down as a good weekend except for one major factor on Saturday – rain.
Friday the first day of the event went pretty much flawless as our group made four runs for the day. Friday was hot and sunny in the low 90’s for a temperature. We did our annual match with the Brew City Gassers to close the evening with five of our cars pairing up with a gasser. We topped them 3 to 2 when the dust settled. Great time this was.
Saturday, the staff at GLD worked hard to get the track up and running and we were able to get two runs in that evening with the first around 7 pm. All in all, six runs in the two days was good at the Grove. With rain threats on Saturday the car count was down. Nearly three hundred were entered for the event. With what I had heard was the total cars was half that number. It still was enough to put on a great show.
The Brew City Gassers once again had the grounds and the starting line really spruced up for this event and I will write them commending their efforts on this fourth annual Out of Sight event and for having us as their guests.
